Haäfe & Haph Font License Agreement
Grant of License
The purchase of this software grants you the non-exclusive right to use and display a copy of the software on up to five computers with attached monitors and printers at any one time. One copy may be made for back-up. You agree not to duplicate, reproduce, sell, transfer, license, or otherwise distribute the fonts in any form, except as provided herein. You agree not to decompile, modify, reformat, translate, reverse-engineer or otherwise discover the source code of the fonts.
Copyright
This software is copyrighted and contains intellectual property information protected by law. You are not allowed to make copies of the type faces and give them away. You may lend a copy of this software to any service bureau which you hire to output your film, paper or color proofs, provided that they do not use the typefaces for any purpose other than outputting your work. They may keep the fonts on file for use with future jobs on your behalf. You agree that if these fonts are opened in Fontographer or any other type modification software, you may alter fonts for your own specific design purposes, but agree not save the adapted versions for the purpose of reselling them as new fonts.
Electronic Publishing.
These fonts may be used within portable electronic documents with the following limitations:
a. Haäfe & Haph fonts may be embedded into electronic documents such as the PDF files and Flash files. If different software is used to create these electronic documents, it is necessary to ensure that when the documents are made available to other users, the actual font files will not be accessible to the recipients of your files. When embedding fonts the document must not include more than 60%(percent) of the character set of any individual style of the font before any distribution is allowed to take place. Using Adobe Illustrator or any similar applications which convert the font characters into editable outlines is NOT an acceptable means of producing an electronic document for distribution.
b. With the exception of documents produced for internal company use, it is prohibited for an electronic document OR a printed document to be distributed externally if it resembles a font sample (showing numerous characters from the font in sequential order: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, etc.) or has all or a large percentage of the characters from the font without any apparent reason for their inclusion in the text
c. You will secure embedded documents against unauthorized use by any third party, as set forth herein. Under no circumstances will this License be construed to entitle you (or affliates and clients), or assigns to broadcast embedded documents over public computer networks, including but not limited to publicly accessible pages on the WWW.
Transfer of ownership.
You may not sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise assign any rights, duties or obligations under this agreement, in whole or in part, to any person or entity.
Multiple-User Licensing.
If you have purchased Haäfe & Haph fonts you are licensed to use them on up to five different computers. If you plan to install the font software on more than five computers, or if you plan to install the software onto a local area network so that it will be accessible to more than two computers, the purchase of a Multiple-User Licensing Fee is necessary.

Please contact Haäfe & Haph at contact@haafe.com, for assistance with calculating the Multiple User Licensing Fee.
If you have paid this additional licensing fee, you may install this software onto the number of computers you have paid licensing for, so long as these computers all belong to the company, which has paid this licensing fee. You are prohibited from providing this software to any other company or outside users, except where the other company will be using these fonts exclusively for the preparation of a project on your behalf. While this is an exception to the rule for your convenience, it assumes that this will not be a frequent circumstance; regular outside contracts involving more than three external designers is NOT covered by this exception. Where this exception does apply, you agree to provide any such outside users with a copy of this agreement, and agree to inform them that they will be obliged to delete all copies of the fonts once the given project has been completed.
Customized versions
The "Haäfe & Haph Font License Agreement" allows customized versions of our fonts under the following conditions:
a. You agree not to make, or authorize or commission others to make, any additions, deletions or modifications to the fonts without the prior written consent of Haäfe & Haph.
b. The customized fonts retain the original Haäfe & Haph copyright notice.
c. The customized fonts continue to be used in accordance with this agreement.
d. The end user purchases a user license for the appropriate number of printers and workstations.
Liability
In no event will Haäfe & Haph be held liable for any consequential or incidental damages, including any lost profits or lost savings, or for any claim by any party, even if Haäfe & Haph has been apprised of the possibility of such damages.
Disclaimer and Limited Warranty
Haäfe & Haph warrants that the font is free of errors. Software ordered online using a credit card is not returnable once it is downloaded onto your computer. You must read and agree to the terms of the "Haäfe & Haph Font License Agreement" prior to downloading the software.
Haäfe & Haph expressly reserves the right to make changes to the content, materials, software or the terms of sale on this site at any time without notice or obligation. Haäfe & Haph shall have no obligation to change, update or correct any error that may exist in any content, material or software found or downloaded from this site.
Breach and Termination
This license is effective until terminated, but Haäfe & Haph reserves the right to terminate this license immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this license. Upon any such termination you will destroy the original and any copies of the font and cease all use of the trademarks. The termination of this agreement shall automatically, and without any further action by Haäfe & Haph, terminate and extinguish this license. Haäfe & Haph reserves the right to make routine inspections of the fonts, to which end you agree to surrender the fonts to Haäfe & Haph, by e-mail, immediately upon receipt of written notice.
EXCEPT AS MAY BE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED FOR OTHERWISE IN A WRITTEN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND HAAFE & HAPH, ALL MATERIALS AND SERVICES ON THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THE WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITATION OF ANY KIND, HAAFE & HAPH MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES OR MATERIALS WILL BE EFFECTIVE, ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv)THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR INFORMATION PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU FROM THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, AND (v) ANY ERRORS IN THE SOFTWARE OBTAINED FROM THE SITE WILL BE CORRECTED.
